This is a new hotel and i wonder if they have a policy regarding vaping and E-Cigs? I wonder if the Committee is aware of the hotel policy? These questions should probably be addressed before the start of the convention…

The minutes for February 2015 ASC have been posted. There is an Addendum to the minutes posted as well. The Addendum shows the FRSC proposed budget that is to be v0ted on by the homegroups.

As promised, here are the topics for the Fellowship Development Service Seminar.
1) Traditions Workbook Workshop – Participants will have their chance to create input for this latest NAWS Literature Project.
2) GSR Workshop and Orientation- this presentation will have info on how to be an effective GSR for your Home Group.
3) Public Relations Presentation- come learn why PR is so important and what we as members can do to help raise public awareness.
4) The NA Meeting / a closer look – will help us understand the responsibilities of the meeting Chairperson and the concept of Self Support and what the basket is for.

Plus we will hear from the ASC Chair, RCM, and the Sub-committee Chairpersons.
The presenters will be local NA members and will be announced soon after ASC.
The new Flyer is posted in the documents section of the Open Discussion Group Forum.

The minutes from the December ASC have been posted. Also check the latest Literature inventory document from November to check for literature the ASC may have that your group may need to purchase.

The minutes for the November ASC have been posted. The minutes are 78 pages long due to the approval process of all area policies and budgets.
It is suggested that GSR’s and ALL members carefully read and make themselves familiar with the minutes prior to your business meetings so the voting process at your home group goes smoothly.
The subcommittee policies begin on page 9. Daytona ASC Policy starts on page 49. The proposed budgets for all area committee’s begins on page 75.
There are 20 motions to vote on. They should all be highlighted in yellow so they will be easier to identify.
Any questions can be posted in this forum by clicking on the link in the email you receive or directed to the Secretary (Kasey), ASC Chair (Sean), or the Webservant (John).

It has been brought to my attention that there is a problem downloading the minutes and some members cannot seem to download the ASC minutes in the usual manner. So until i can fix the problem pass the word that a new page has been created on the website called the TEMPORARY DOCUMENTS PAGE. It is located under the same menu tab as ASC Minutes but its at the bottom of the sub-menu. On that page you will find a link for the minutes that works so that everyone can download the minutes.

You didn’t get the emails from the website because the email default setting was set wrong. I have fixed it and everything should be good to go.
